Background: This project was part of an internal effort to enrich company culture by encouraging employees to their celebrate fellow coworkers’ little and big Moments of Awesomeness.
Challenge: Create a distinct visual identity that feels new, fresh, and “awesome” while maintaining a connection with the established brand identity.
Solution: Wanting to balance out the current brand’s emphasis on illustration, I created a fun, custom typographic treatment that highlighted the word awesome (or awesomeness). While the typography itself was a departure, I infused the established brand colors, and offered hints of illustrative components to tie the new theme back in.
